Pete is currently the ASE Futures Committee secretary and former Chair of the ASE (2013-14). He is an independent consultant currently working as a SCITT science tutor and supporting schools in the North West of England.

Pete has been around in science education since 1983 as a teacher for 20 years and a teacher educator for the last 18 years. For the last couple of years, Pete has been working as an ITT subject tutor with the Star Institute.
