Paul has been at SSERC since 2008 and is currently Director of Professional Learning. Paul taught secondary school chemistry before a move to the University of Texas (Austin) for postdoctoral work. On returning to the UK Paul became Head of Science at the North East Wales Institute and in 1988 to Edge Hill University College as Head of Natural and Applied Sciences. Between 2001 and 2008, Paul was Director of Science and Plants for Schools and during that time presented the RSC Worthington Schools’ Lecture as well as contributing to the Royal Institution’s Schools Lecture Programme. Paul has wide experience in the development and delivery of CPD activities across primary and secondary sectors.
